This Policy also concerns our processing of personal data of grantees who have been awarded grant funding by us and applicants for grant funding (“Grantee”). If you are a Grantee, please ensure you read this Policy in its entirety for full information about how we process your personal data, while also paying particular attention to the following:
- We collect information about you from the information you provide to us when you interact with us before making an application for grant funding, when you submit a formal application for an award and in other ways as you interact with us during your time as a Grantee.
- We collect Contact Data, Log Data, Device Information and Online Portal (as defined above) related personal data about you and any other information relevant to grant funding application or award.
- The basis on which we process Grantee personal data is our legitimate interests in executing our charitable mission of ending smoking by funding grants in furtherance of the purposes for which we were created and in monitoring and evaluating the performance of our grants. We may also process your personal data for our compliance with our legal obligations.
- Personal data of unsuccessful applicants is maintained for no more than five years after the application process, except for any records we are required to retain for a longer period. Personal data of successful applicants will be kept indefinitely subject to applicable laws. If you are a Grantee based in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, please review the retention period information set out in that section.
Visitors From Outside the United States
Please be aware that information collected through the Site may be transferred to, processed, or stored in various countries, including the United States. Data protection laws in these countries may be different from the laws in your country of residence.
